I am a self-taught artist and painter from Washington State. I grew up in the beautiful Pacific Northwest and I am now enjoying the Inland Northwest. I feel my paintings reflect the life that I’ve experienced in both areas, from rural life and the expanse of the outdoors to the urban, close community feel of cities.

Working mostly with acrylics, I started many years ago as a hobbyist and a self-driven painter who found myself using art as a compass for navigating life, which has evolved into an intense desire to create.

Being drawn to Expressionism and Impressionism styles of art, I enjoy creating simple yet expressive, familiar medleys of the world that we all may hold some form of relationship to. I hope that when people view my work, they might find a piece that elicits an emotion that makes them feel a little more connected to this magnificent world that we all share.
